The space felt like walking straight through a portal into a bygone era, perfectly capturing a nostalgic and laid-back atmosphere. At the very heart of the experience, the overarching theme of the show centered around an engaging and intimate conversation with the legendary Tommy Chong, setting a relaxed tone for everyone in attendance.

  • The Walls: The immersive environment came alive with a vibrant Green Vive backdrop, featuring rich green-painted walls that were meticulously adorned with intricate psychedelic imagery from top to bottom. Adding depth and a touch of nature to the psychedelic vibe, much of the curated artwork hanging thoughtfully along the walls prominently featured majestic trees, seamlessly blending retro counterculture aesthetics with the great outdoors.

  • The Furniture: To anchor the room in warmth and tactile comfort, the space was arranged with inviting earth-tone leather couches. These carefully chosen seating pieces not only grounded the sprawling visual elements of the room but also created a deeply intimate, cozy conversational nook that welcomed guests to kick back and enjoy the show.

Felipe Esparza

Step into the whimsically curated universe of the Big Foo Tour, where acclaimed comedian Felipe Esparza invites audiences into an intimately surreal, theatrical world of his very own campsite. Drawing vivid aesthetic inspiration from the meticulously symmetrical, pastel-hued cinematography of classic Wes Anderson films, this picturesque stage design is anchored by a charming canvas tent and a warmly flickering campfire that instantly transports spectators into a nostalgic, storybook wilderness.

Surrounding this cozy enclave is The Forest, a masterfully crafted woodland landscape comprised of six distinct sections. Trees of varying heights and dimensions, alongside two dense sections featuring staggered rows of trees that create a brilliant sense of depth and perspective.

At the beating heart of the production is the meticulously engineered Campfire, where artistry meets clever fabrication. The dynamic flames are sculpted from lightweight EVA foam, while the wisps of smoke overhead are brought to life by an artful textured cotton armature. The integrated lighting systems pulse with varying patterns to cast a convincing, hypnotic flame illusion, and the entire rustic installation is grounded by authentically textured faux wood logs

The comedic world of the nation's most relatable comic, the America’s Favorite Husband Tour brings an entirely new level of immersive staging to life, anchored by a brilliantly conceptualized environment designed specifically for the headliner himself. For this exciting tour production, the core creative vision was built around a fun yet essential premise: ensuring that Steve—widely celebrated as America's absolute favorite husband—has his very own dedicated sanctuary on stage.

Welcome to The Man Cave, a masterfully curated domain and set piece that captures the ultimate aesthetic of comfort, leisure, and classic masculine energy. Every single detail within this personalized retreat was carefully handpicked to be thoroughly reminiscent of the greatest legendary man caves ever built.

  • The Ultimate Entertainment Hub: As you take in the space, your eyes are immediately drawn to a massive, state-of-the-art flat screen television broadcasting live sports to keep the competitive spirit alive.

  • Refined Refreshments & Decor: The domain features a sleek, fully stocked bar ready for an ice-cold beer, complemented by stylish art posters and vibrant LED neon signs that cast a warm, cozy glow over the entire room.

  • Nostalgia & Classic Staples: No authentic man cave would ever be complete without a heavy dose of personal memorabilia and iconic room staples, highlighted by a professional-grade dartboard ready for a quick game.

DESERT DAZE | GLOBAL INHERITANCE | 1960 RECORD STORE

For three days, many of the 10,000 Desert Daze attendees passed by and experienced this one of a kind record store

1960’s Record Store

Transporting adventurous foodies into an entirely immersive culinary landscape, the activation titled "Meat the Beetles" served up an unforgettable five-course tasting menu centered entirely around the innovative use of delicious, sustainable edible insects. To bring this whimsical yet daring concept to life, my primary creative task was to meticulously theme and design the entire restaurant space to authentically capture the vibrant, groovy aesthetic of a classic 1960s record store, blending retro vinyl culture seamlessly with a boundary-pushing gastronomic experience.

Crafted from wood that has been stained and weathered to evoke a deeply authentic, lived-in aesthetic, this charming 4-foot by 3-foot counter serves as the ultimate nostalgic centerpiece, complete with vintage-style posters artfully layered to fully capture that classic, independent record store vibe.

On the adjacent wall, an immersive and striking vinyl record wall unfolds, featuring a custom record curtain constructed from interconnected 10-inch records seamlessly joined by O-rings that fit together precisely like pieces of an intricate puzzle, creating a mesmerizing visual texture.

Album wall art

Transforming the living space into an immersive musical sanctuary with a striking album wall art display. The eye-catching installation consists of a meticulously arranged five-by-five grid of iconic album covers, seamlessly connected together using innovative double-sided gator clips to create a floating, modern aesthetic.

To complete the retro-inspired atmosphere and elevate the room into a cozy listening lounge, the space is anchored by a plush area rug paired with a comfortable vintage recliner. Nearby, authentic milk crates overflow with a curated selection of vinyl records, inviting guests to flip through the collection and spin their favorite tracks on a classic record player for a truly tactile audio experience.

Good Burger Activation Overview

This exceptionally immersive and hyper-realistic Good Burger themed photo opportunity completely captivated festival attendees, creating an environment so authentic that visitors repeatedly attempted to step up and place actual food orders. The incredible inclusion of Ed Truly brought the entire space to life with vibrant energy and interactive nostalgia.

The Interactive Shake Machine

Festival-goers were invited to step right inside the giant, shake machine to capture the ultimate souvenir photograph, complete with a lid that opened and closed to maximize the theatrical effect.

The Iconic Backdrop

The painstakingly crafted backdrop was engineered to look precisely like the legendary Good Burger restaurant, packed wall-to-wall with a detailed menu board featuring clever easter eggs for superfans to discover.

Immersive Props and Details

Every minute detail was meticulously accounted for, featuring custom-branded cups, authentic burger wrappers, and logo-stamped tray covers, all complemented by playful slime stickers artfully scattered throughout the entire space to elevate the fun.
